What can Decide see, and where is my data?

Short answer: Decide has no account and collects nothing. Your areas, selections and times are stored on your iPhone, and Decide can see how many apps you chose, never which ones.

What stays on your iPhone

  • Your areas, the apps you chose and your times are stored on this iPhone. Decide has no server to send them to.
  • Screen Time gives Decide sealed references to the apps you choose. Decide never learns their names, and never reads which apps you use or for how long.
  • No account, no ads, no tracking and no analytics.

What leaves it, and only when you choose

  • Purchases are handled by Apple. Decide learns only whether a plan unlocks it.
  • Reminders are notifications delivered by iOS; they show the area name.
  • Send Feedback, in Settings, opens an email with only the Decide version, its build number and your iOS version. You see it before you send it.

Deleting your data

Settings → Reset Decide removes every restriction and deletes everything Decide stored on this iPhone. It asks first and cannot be undone. Deleting the Decide app also deletes its areas and times. Neither changes your purchases.

The Privacy Policy is the full statement; it is linked at the foot of this page and in Settings → Legal.

Still need help?

Write to us by email. It helps to say what happened, what you expected, and your iOS version. In Decide, Settings → Contact Us opens a message to the same address.
