Creator Privacy Notice

This notice explains how we use your information when you apply to create with Decide.

Who we are

Douro Ventures Ltd is the controller of your information; our company details are at the foot of this page. Contact us about anything in this notice at support@getdecideapp.com.

What we collect

We do not ask for sensitive information. These pages use no cookies, analytics or advertising tools, and we do not fetch or analyse your links automatically.

Unfinished applications

When you continue from Step 1, we save your answers as a draft so you can finish later. If you do not finish, we may send you up to two emails reminding you that you can; they contain no marketing. You can finish a draft within 7 days; it is deleted within 14 days of being started, or sooner if you ask.

How we use it, and why we are allowed to

We do not make automated decisions about you, and we do not use your information for advertising.

Who can see it

The people at Douro Ventures Ltd who run the creators programme, and the service providers we use for hosting, database storage, security and email, who act only on our instructions. We do not sell your information. We may disclose it if the law requires.

Our team and service providers may process your information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

Deleted information can remain in our hosting backups for up to 30 days. If we sign an agreement with you, that agreement says how long its records are kept.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw any permission, or ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or stop using your information, or to give you a copy, by writing to support@getdecideapp.com. It is free and does not affect your application. To protect your information we reply to, or ask you to confirm from, the email address you applied with.

Complaints

You can complain to us at support@getdecideapp.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint), or to the data protection authority where you live.
